MYPIN Special for AD player on Amazon kodia updates

Hi…this probably isn’t nearly as complex as it sounds. So you can find the MYPIN player here on Amazon for reference (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0986MMXBP?ref…asin_title).

In any case, I bought the media player and have been using it to stream video and watch stuff from my hdd. It’s been getting a bit glitchy so I decided to factory reset it. In the process it took Kodi back to version Leia. I found that even when Google Play Store eventually decides to update that I can’t update Kodi from it. It doesn’t seem to be associated with the player, like it’s incompatible or something. Which, it might technically be, but I’ve had it up to the latest OS right before this and it was running just fine.

So, I found in the Kodi system information under Hardware that the device I’m using is a: CPU: ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v71). I went to the download page with Kodi and found the ARMv7 32 bit version download. I figured that sounded right and downloaded it to a thumb drive and tried sideloading it. That was successfully installed. Then, when trying to load it, all I got was a black screen…any advice?

Hopefully just letting it sit will also produce results as it’s connected to the Internet and has updated before, I’m just worried that since this is an Android 6.0.1 device it might have less of a chance of automatically…doing anything due to lack of support. Going to some of the system pages on Kodi it mentions that the version I’m using is out of date, please go to our webpage, but it doesn’t give you a link to download anything directly to the device.
