I experience some minor glitches with InputStream Adaptive.
I use it to stream from Paramount+ and Prime Video for example, by using the corresponding KODI addons.
I use KODI 21.1 and the InputStream Adaptive addon is auto updated.
InputStream Adaptive is configured to “Ask quality”.
Streaming of movies is flawless, both from Paramount+ and Prime Video.
Streaming of live sport events presents some glitches (although the watching experience is still enjoyable).
With Paramount+, there are frequent microstoppages of the streaming of a fraction of a second. That does not happen with movies. Then, when during half time ads are broadcast, the stoppages are much longer, even about 1 minute and sometime KODI quits. I imagine that ads are recorded with a different encoding with respect to the live sport event, however I do not know if this is the cause of the problem.
With Prime Video, it is does not even start the play, it appears the message “Cannot play this video” (again, only for live sport events).
