Kodi Not Connecting to LG NAS on NFS

Hello everyone and thanks upfront for the help from your latest noob.

I have Kodi up and running on my Fire Stick 4K Max. I decided to pull out my old LG N1T1DD1 NAS and throw some content on there. Here’s where I started running into issues. I was unable to connect to the NAS with Kodi in any way (NFS, SMB).

After playing around with it, I was able to get it to show the NAS in SMB, but I was unable to open the folder. I eventually enabled uPnP in Kodi and am now able to use it via that, but I would like to use it with NFS if possible. After playing around with different settings, I am now able to see the NAS as its IP Address. However, when I click on it I see the share folder but cannot click on it. If I add it anyway it will show the IP address and not the associated folder and no content is displayed.

In the NAS settings for NFS, I have the following:
Permission:  Read/Write
Client host:  All hosts
Root ID mapping: Not use
User ID mapping: Not use
Anonymous ID: Administrator (as apposed to nobody)

I previously had User ID mapping set as Use and that didn’t seem to make a difference.

Also, I was finally able to update the firmware to the newest one on the NAS just in case that was an issue.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! I have done a ton of searching and did find a thread from here:
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=376249

I may need to use that at some point if I want to get SMB working, but I don’t think that is an issue.

What is everyone’s opinions on NFS vs DLNA vs SMB? The research I’ve done suggests NFS is the fastest and least intensive way to stream. I am not opposed to using DLNA as long as all my devices have no issues with it. I was able to get it to stream on an iphone with DLNA Player. Wouldn’t connect at first, but it finally established the DLNA connection. SMB wouldn’t work with that app or with the Files app. I think it has something to do with the SMB version I have linked here.

Anyway, thanks for reading and let me know if anyone has any suggestions!
