I have a projection room with a W1090 (1080p SDR). KODI is used to access a server content via DLNA. The server running MezzMo is located in a technical room. The projector is connected to a Xiaomi Mi Box S (1th gen). I cannot get tone mapping to work.
On the Mi Box, there are no tone mapping settings with DV/HDR10 content. I can see these options when I disable Hardware Acceleration (Surface), but this setting must be activated for proper playing.
On a Fire TV Stick Lite (which is not powerful enough to properly decode UHD videos), the tone mapping settings are visible, even with both Hardware Acceleration settings activated.
My question is simple : Which box/stick should I buy to make sure I get tone mapping settings with hardware acceleration enabled ?
Mi Box S 2nd Gen ?
Fire TV Stick 4K 2n Gen ?
