My setup is basic: Kodi installed in an Android cel and a Chromecast.
Kodi is working perfectly. I’m using a configured playercorefactory.xml to redirect the stream to the Local Cast app, which can cast almost all the content from Videos / Add-Ons
BUT, if I want to externalize the content of a TV service (configured via PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on), it does not work: is a not noticeable error, but looks like the Local Cast was never invoked.
A Team Kodi Member explained here years ago (about externalize the content to another player) that “xbmc provides an url like ‘pvr://channels/tv/All TV channels/1.pvr’ as parameter to external player so the player can’t open this url. Unfortunatly, I don’t know how change this behavior. “
Anyone knows how to workaround this problem? I would like to make it work without casting the complete cel screen.
