So heres my basic setup kodi on desktop pc that has harddrives with movies connected to it. SPMC on my nvidia shield that is connected to my tv. Adding movies everything is fine, make sure movie is right name, update library good to go shows up on my tv hooray. However there are a bunch of video clips that arent films that I would like to see on my tv, 4k hdr demos mostly. These are mkv (like the movies i have) avi and so on. However since these are not movies the scraper..I guess..doesnt jive with the video clip so I cant put them in the movie folder, it doesnt show up on the tv. I can put it in a misc folder and access that folder on the tv, but the clips are not there. Any suggestions..
tldr just need a way to have spmc on shield to read misc video clips as opposed to scraped information movies.
