I’m new to this forum, and to Kodi, and I’m hoping to get some help to set it up the way I use Emby. I’ve been running Emby for a while, and have four users, and multiple devices. The users have their own watched statuses for TV shows and movies, and a generic user automatically logs on at startup for family viewings on the main system.
I’m hoping to set up an SQL server to share watched statuses, but before I do, I wanted to find out whether I could have multiple users, and transfer the existing Emby data across. Ideally I’d like all user profiles to be available on all devices (mainly Windows and Android), and to sync their data automatically.
I’m using the Emby plugin with one user at the moment, but Emby server seems to be getting more resource hungry, and I can’t afford to update my media server any time soon.
