I’m having some problem with total lockup of Kodi when watching LiveTV. Sometimes it happens when changing channel. That’s why I asked here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=296279 how to force a crash log.
This time it didn’t happen when I change channel, now it was the second scenario. And I’ll try to explain what I did.
Watching LiveTV for a few hours and getting a buffer message. These messages never work, the meter slowly increase to 100% but the playback never resumes. So when this occurs I just exit LiveTV and start it again. This works most of the times. But this time LiveTV didn’t start again. In the bottom of the screen I got the play arrow and 00:00 timer but LiveTV never opened and showed a picture. So I pressed Exit and thought I should try it again. But the screen goes completely black and Kodi don’t respond to anything.
Then I used: killall -SEGV kodi.bin to create a crash log, and here it is: http://sprunge.us/TXgc
Since it could take hours or even days before this happens it would be quite hard to get a ordinary debug log. It would probably be huge. So I hope this crash log could be of some help.
