I changed the background.png in the skin's textures.xbt file, but now it has a blue hue to it. How can I remove that hue?

To install the extension:

Download the zip file and save it in a place where you can easily access from your device. Open Kodi. Select System. Select Settings. Select Extension. Select Install from a zip file. Hi, I have a problem with my Kodi. It gives notifications " remote share: path not found or invalid". This is happening now almost everyday. Sometimes it happens with just one or two folders and I "fix it" by rebooting the system. The terminal says: Segmentation fault (core dumped) and also something about EXT4-fs error.

There is also the problem with my computers not being connected to the raspberry for some time, it started when my internet connection was changed, and I don't have the knowledge to connect them. When starting the system it warns that the "kernel lacks cgroups or memory controller not available, not starting cgroups." Does this tell anything about what I should do with this problem?

It would be great if someone could help me in understanding these problems. I am worried if I could lose the stuff from the hard drive, and I don’t have the means to copy the data to my computer.

I have ~/.kodi/temp and ~/.kodi/addons on different file systems. ~/.kodi and ~/.kodi/addons are on the same file system and ~/.kodi/temp is on a different one (I keep temp on a different file system because I don't want to include it my btrfs snapshots).

Both ~/.kodi/[addons,temp] have the same file system permissions:
drwxr-xr-x 1 mythtv users

(I run kodi as the user "mythtv").

Whenever Kodi attempts to update any addon, it fails. Here's an example excerpt from ~/.kodi/temp/kodi.log:

Permissions of "/home/mythtv/.kodi/addons/resource.language.en_us" which the logs say "failed read":

If I su to the "mythtv" user, I can rename, copy, delete, etc the "/home/mythtv/.kodi/addons/resource.language.en_us" directory fine.

Note that Kodi can and does write to ~/.kodi/temp - there are plenty of files and directories in there. If I make ~/.kodi/temp a directory on the same file system as ~/.kodi, then addons upgrade fine. Therefore, I suspect there's a problem with the code that does "copy&delete will be used instead of rename" - but maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I'm using Kodi 17 post beta 5 (git commit c05fc78) built today.
