I have two systems running Kodi right now, both having access to a shared MySQL Library on my Microserver.
One is Windows based Kodi running on an Acer RL70, and the other Kodi is running on my Amazon FireTV.
Both are versions 14.2.
My plan going forward is to upgrade to the latest Windows based version on the Acer, however on the Amazon FireTV, I would like to use SPMC instead of Kodi, as it plays nicer with my PVR.
Can these two developments of Kodi be used with a single MySQL database?
Also what is the process of upgrading from 14 to 16? What’s the best way to go about it as I really don’t want to lose any of my databases!
