First off I want to thank all for the hard work on this new player any this is by no means any thing derogatory.
I just want to ask others opinion of the new video player. I have a windows 8.1 machine with a Nvidia 960 , i7 and 16gb ram so I have the power to run most anything video wise. I am running on a fairly large television so small issues seem to make themselves more apparent. I play a lot of high bitrate and/or remux files. Using this player I have noticed that there is a lot of slight artifacting in certain scenes or around objects when changing scenes, and around higher speed scenes, there also seems to be very slight stutters here and there at random spots. Its not over whelming but definitely noticeable to the point that you know something has changed and nothing that can be logged as a problem. I only say this because I experienced non of these issues on the previous version of the video player. I also noticed that skipping forward thru a movie seems to struggle a little more as well and is not quite that smooth. Again I appreciate all the hard work that has been done but want to get others opinion as far as their experience….
