I love Kodi for it’s sensible use of screen space and the scrapers.
I’m looking for a hardware solution to make Kodi play the video files I got from Onlinetvrecorder properly. These files are H264+MP3VBR in AVI files.
My FireTV Stick is not able to play the files correctly, the hardware accelerations seems to create a stuttering playback because of missing PTS. For software decoding, the Stick is not powerful enough. See my experiences so far.
I was thinking about a FireTV 4k, a RasPi 3 or an Android box.
Does anybody play Onlinetvrecorder AVIs on Kodi without problems? Which hardware do you use?
