I have installed all depends…
I have tried reading the the README.linux file, but I am getting stuck at the point where it calls ./bootstrap and ./configure…
These files are not in the main source tree.

UPDATE: I have run
tools/depends/bootstrap
tools/depends/configure
configure is reporting
configure: error: No prefix path defined. Use for ex: –prefix=/opt/xbmc-depends
