I don’t know if it belongs in KODI or in Simple Client forum, but I wish changing the TV channel names in the PVR section’s channel manager would actually do something beside just changing the display name.
My problem is, that if I have an m3u file for a playlist, but I have no access to that m3u file to edit (because it’s on a server), my EPG data doesn’t show up for my TV channels, because the channel name in the EPG doesn’t match the channel name in KODI.
I would expect changing the channel name in the channel manager would actually find the right EPG channel.
It works in Perfect Player like this and I don’t see, why it shouldn’t work in KODI.
