I’m currently planning a new Kodi-Setup for our flat. We’ll have multiple Kodi devices in different rooms and multiple users using them. So I thought it would be best to use one central mySQL server and multiple kodi-users so that everybody can keep track of their own watched status. From what I’ve read so far, that should be a working solution. But I’ve one concern: We’ll often watch a movie or tvshow together. A normal multi-user setup would set the watched status for only the currently logged in user, wouldn’t it?
Is there a way to tell kodi that “A”, “B” and “C” are currently watching – so the watched-status is updated for everybody accordingly? Ore are there any plugins that can do that?
