“Step backward” on AFTV causes long pause

I have always had an issue with “step backward” taking too long on AFTV (sometimes 3-4 seconds before playback resumes) and would like to know if others are experiencing the same thing. If this is a common issue with this hardware, is the delay a function of a network buffering, AFTV’s RAM, CPU resources or something else? If this is not a common issue, then how can I troubleshoot and fix it?
