phlips tv 32pfl5007 no sub titels by streaming

I have a phlips tv 32pfl5007
I used the kodi 16.1 i see the film is playing but i see no external subtiles.
In kody i set by system i set by unp/dnla search for external subtitels on
I copied the film and the subtiles to a usb stick and het plays the subtiles.
And set the subtitles on on the tv and when he read from the usb stick he play’s the subtiltes
