I have spent the better part of a day Googling and researching and have come up empty. I would consider myself computer literate.
The Problem.
I can’t get Kodi to access my shares properly, I can navigate to my network share locations, Kodi see’s them, I follow the on screen prompts. Kodi then scans 2 movies out of 19 available and 2 albums out of about 500.
Server is a Windows 10 box
Client is Sony Bravia TV running Kodi 17.
The shares are C:\\Movies, C:\\Music
– CMD “net share” shows both of the above are being shared.
I have given full read/write access to homegroup.
