Cant delete org.xbmc.kodi folder and contents

Hey all
Im having trouble deleting the mentioned folder in es file explorer.Whatever I try I just can’t delete it.I just get “delete task failed”.Ive uninstalled kodi from my nvidia shield but whenever I reinstall it the folder re appears with a “echotvguide” folder and the below png files inside of it.Ive deleted the png files individually but they always re appear.Ive even tried cutting and pasting it to a usb stick but it won’t let me do that either.
Any help much appreciated as its really annoying me.
