I have been using Kodi for several years and have never had a problem with deleting, renaming, copying, or movig files in the File Manager, but I just got a new H96 Pro+ tv box running Android 6.0.1 and not only do I get an error message every time I try to do any of the above named actions, but downloaded content does not show up even though the correct download path is set in the addon and it shows that the download is completed. All other existing content on any of the attached devices shows and plays with no problem, but no new downloaded content is visible. It doesn’t matter what download path I set, it does not show.
I had exactly the same problem on another box using Android 6, but I assumed it was a hardware problem, so I returned it and got the H96 Pro+. All other Android and Windows devices that I have used Kodi on, have never had a problem – only on the two that had Android 6. And, yes, I have made sure that the “allow file renaming and deletion” button is “on” in the settings.
I have “Googled” this, but to no avail and I have searched the posts here and have not found anything.
What am I missing?? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an answer?
