Problem with logfiles.

Hi!

I had some trouble the past weeks with Kodi. When I start a video (no matter which) kodi stops it after 6 seconds or so.

I tried to grab my kodi.log file, but all I saw in it was:

Code:
01:00:06   6.371561 T:1967525888  NOTICE: Log level changed to "LOG_LEVEL_NORMAL"
01:00:06   6.372592 T:1967525888  NOTICE: Default DVD Player: dvdplayer
01:00:06   6.372624 T:1967525888  NOTICE: Default Video Player: dvdplayer
01:00:06   6.372652 T:1967525888  NOTICE: Default Audio Player: paplayer
01:00:06   6.372688 T:1967525888  NOTICE: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level -1.

My understanding was that advancedsettings.xml overrides all other settings (?).

Here are my settings:

Code:
<advancedsettings>
<network>
<buffermode>1</buffermode> <!-- Comment: Default is 1 -->
<cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize> <!-- Comment: Default is 20971520 bytes or 20 MB -->
<readbufferfactor>4.0</readbufferfactor> <!-- Comment: Default is 1.0 -->
</network>
<loglevel hide="true">-1</loglevel>
<playcountminimumpercent>95</playcountminimumpercent>
<nodvdrom>true</nodvdrom>
<videolibrary>
    <cleanonupdate>true</cleanonupdate>
    <importwatchedstate>true</importwatchedstate>
</videolibrary>
<videoscanner>
    <ignoreerrors>true</ignoreerrors>
</videoscanner>
<video>
    <timeseekforward>15</timeseekforward>
    <timeseekbackward>-15</timeseekbackward>
    <subsdelayrange>240</subsdelayrange>
</video>
</advancedsettings>

Do I need to do something my related to GUI Settings?
