Long time satisfied kodi user, now, a bit confused kodi user, to put it mildly.
I’ve started to test kodi 17.1, and trying to figure out some of the new / missing features since 16.1.
I’m not sure if this post should be in another subform, sorry if this is the wrong place.
In Kodi 16, you could see how much of the movie was buffered on the timeline when playing. Buffered portion was light grey/white. This seems to be lacking in kodi 17.
Bufferinfo in playerdebug (isn’t that what it’s called? When you press shift+ctrl+o) isn’t much help either, it only shows 100%, not how many MB/GB, even when the video is still buffering in the background.
Is there any way to get this back?
I’m also -really- missing to view the tv-show library sorted after “date added”. This was possible in earlier versions.. You can sort it this way in “in progress” tv shows, but that lists only a few shows. I need to sort all tv shows like that.
“Last played” sorting under tv-shows is something completely different.
Any tips / workarounds?
I understand that many healthy changes has been made, but when devs just rip away very useful functionality I use every single day, seemingly just for the heck of it, I get really frustrated.
