Newbie here. I ran into some recent problems installing kodi 17 on a fire stick 2nd gen. Last week I was able to install it on a fire tv with no problems. I usually side load it from the “apps to fire” app on my galaxy s7. I never had any problem before. I downloaded kodi from the play store. Both apps “kodi” & “apps 2 fire” are installed in my internal storage. I also tried other ways thinking it might work. I download “es file explorer” on both the fire stick and my phone and tried to side load and install that way. It will download into the fire stick but it cannot install. I also tried going directly to kodi.tv from “es file explore” web browser and still kodi will not install. The fire stick did manage to install a RC and beta version from kodi website. I have no other ideas how to get this to work. Also I did try another brand new fire stick and it still won’t work.
