After several tests with several skins (and after calling Kodi’s jsonrpc for details) it appears that ICY radio streams are not parsed to show any metadata contained within.
Is this down to Kodi itself or ffmpeg ?
As it stands with Jarvis, metadata is shown for a streaming radio station as track information. eg ‘Metallica – fade to black’. With Krypton, this information doesn’t seem to be available.
