Files added to hard drive not showing up.

I have been having issues with kodi not finding files on my hard drive. It was working fine when I added files last month. I have added new episodes to my TV folder using the same naming convention as before. I have also added 10+ new movies to my movie folder. EVERYTHING new I add to the drive is not read by kodi (variety of file types). I have searched kodi files manually and they do not show up there either. I have updated source – no change. Cleaned library – no change. Show hidden files is on. I can plug the hard drive into my computer and watch the videos without issues. I have no clue what is wrong! Please help!
