Let me start off by apologizing if this is an easy fix or a simple google search. I am new to Linux and just updated an old computer from Windows XP to Linux Mint 18.1. One of the first things I did was add Kodi 17.0 Krypton. I have gotten Kodi up and can navigate it but nothing plays. If I click to play something off the hard drive it says 100% then goes to the play screen and the time at the bottom starts going but no video or sound.
I have added the add on restricted extras to Linux. I believe everything is updated.
Any help would be appreciated.
