Moving media storage with no fuss

I’ve recently bought a NAS and am aiming to put all my media on there.

Currently, kodi accesses all the media from my external hard drive that is plugged in to my raspberry pi via usb

I have quite a lot of stuff on there (TV shows, films, etc.)

I’m transferring the data over to my NAS using the same file names, same folder structure etc.

Will this be seamless when I reboot my raspberry pi? Is there an easy way to redirect the media and say “ok…now it is located in this folder..”?

It took a long time to scrap and edit all the metadata – I don’t really want to lose this.

Any suggestions? Reassurance…?
