I have been running kodi on my HP laptop for years with no issues. It is sporting windows 7 and an intel i5 processor. As soon as I upgraded to Krypton 17.1 I started having issues with tv show and movie picture. The frames seem to be stuttering and/or skipping. The audo is never affected and the media always buffers far ahead. Every few minutes I can get 30 second to a few minutes where the frames do not skip and the picture is perfect, but for the majority of the shows the skipping is terrible. I experience this with all video add-ons.
Is there something specific to Krypton that could be causing this issue? I have not attempted to go back to Jarvis to see if the problem persists.
