Dts passthrough with lag

Hi, when I watch a mkv movie with DTS every minute or so, the sound is lagging/muting some miliseconds. Its especially annoying when there’s music playing. I have a new av receiver (hdmi) and with my previous one I didn’t had this issue. I tried all combinations of audio settings, but nothing helps. Is this maybe not a kodi issue?
