Final solution to anime scraper and display issues

Greetings, KODI Jedi masters.

This is what is going to happen in this thread:

We shall once and for all resolve all known issues with getting anime related stuff to show up properly in KODI.

I installed the latest stable build for Windows today and here are the issues that I’m having:

As you can see in the screenshot, the unicode characters simply aren’t appearing at all, they’re showing up as boxes

Artwork for my content isn’t appearing either, instead I’m seeing thumbnails, which is kind of lame

Note that I have added all 3 anime scrapers, AniDB, Anime News Network and BestAnime scraper.

No matter which one I select for my Anime folder, it does not show up with pretty artwork like it does for some users I’ve seen on YouTube.

I am using the default theme as you can see.

In other news, even when I add video sources for the TV Shows category, I just get this generic message on the KODI homepage.

I am confused
