Movies Freezing

I have the below box–T95Z Plus TV Box Android 6.0 Marshmallow Amlogic S912 2GB/16GB Octa Core 4K Video Player with Dual WiFi 2.4/5GHz
Running Kodi 17.
when I am watching hd movies- movies randomly stops and goes to back to home screen. I need to restart the movie- movie starts where it left off but very annoying as this happens 3 to 4 times over the course of the movie.
any ideas how to fix this?
