I’ve tried with the official build for 17.2, and a few nightlies including 20170501 RC1, and I get this minor problem with all on my Fire TV and 1080p TV screen on HDMI.
On first install (or Clear Cache), the splash shows 17.2 as you’d expect and loads fine.
After this, on next load, I get no Splash and what looks like HDMI signal loss, as the TV searches for a working resolution. After a few blue screen flickers, Kodi 17.2 loads into the main menu and works great (I love the new UI – much more sensible than Jarvis).
I’ve tried different refresh rates in the Display Preferences, but this isn’t it. I don’t know what else to try. I don’t really want to run at less than 1080p.
Is this a known issue? Anyone else have this? Is there a fix?
It’s not a deal breaker, just a little annoying, that’s all.
