Hello,
I’m trying to play videos in Kodi, and get the audio over my bluetooth headset. I’m using using a RaspberryPi3, running Rasbian with Kodi installed. Everything is on the latest available version.
I have successfully connected my bluetooth headset to the Rpi3.
Things that work via the bluetooth headset:
-Playing music in VLC
-Playing videos with audio in internet browser
-Menu noises within Kodi
-Music within Kodi
What doesn’t work:
-When I try to watch videos in Kodi, it plays the audio over HDMI instead of via the bluetooth headset!
Within Kodi, I set the audio device to ‘ALSA: PulseAudio Sound Server’, which got the Music and menu noises playing via the headset, but the video audio is stubborn.
I set hdmi_drive=1 in the config.txt file in the hope that if it couldn’t play audio via HDMI it would force it to play via the headset. But this doesn’t seem to be the case, it was just then silent.
I’ve tried searching and while I find many half-similar issues, I can’t find anything to help me with this.
Can anyone help with this, or confirm if it’s a known issue?
