Cannot load kodi 17

Purleeese help I have taken kodi 16 off and cannot even get close to loading 17 I have tubed, forumed for the last 4 hours! I do exactly as told to but the page that supposed to say download is an entirely different page the word download is on the right hand side and cannot be clicked on for the drop down menu the last one I tried was from one of the members mirrors kodi releases but when I go into my android version 4.4.2 MXQ box there is nothing that says anything like what the mirror one asks al I can find is kernel version 3.10.33 I have no idea I am a novice can someone p,was help ‘Thankyou
