Hi, I’ve just installed the latest version of Kodi, before Kodi I was using Emby to archive all my movie & TV shows. Having scanned my TV shows I noticed Kodi is not pulling the artwork from my folders. Here is the folder structure example of a couple of my TV Shows:
TV & Video <Folder>
BlackAdder <Folder>
banner.jpg
clearart.png
fanart.jpg
folder.jpg
logo.png
tvshow.nfo
extrafanart <Folder>
season 0 <Folder>
Season 1 <Folder>
metadata <folder>
Blackadder S01E01 – The Foretelling.avi
Blackadder S01E01 – The Foretelling.nfo
Blackadder S01E01 – The Foretelling-thumb.jpg
folder.jpg
season.nfo
The only addon I have installed in Kodi is “Artwork Downloader”. I also noticed in some series it creates a specials folder even though I don’t have a “season 0 folder”, it seems to pull episodes that are listed in other Seasons, example:
Detectorists <folder>
season 2 <folder>
folder.jpg
S00E01 Curse of the Gold.mkv …………. (when scanned this is listed within Specials folder)
