I can’t say for sure if this is a Kodi issue or otherwise..
But I have a symptom where HEVC x265 videos play back on Kodi with a kind of checkerboard pattern overlaying the picture in a diagonal pattern either side of the frame.
I’m hoping someone knows what I’m talking about (will post a picture if that helps)..
I’ve used Handbrake to encode the video (to x265, no issues with x264) and the video plays back fine on VLC and win10’s media player.
So I’m not sure.. Does anyone know of this issue?
