I noticed every time i go to the movie screen the UI locks up for 30 secs, when it’s fetching background art. Can you move the art fetching/network code off the UI thread please? The network code shouldn’t run in the UI thread, that’s poor software design and should be fixed. Should make the interface a lot more fluent on low power devices too (if it’s an issue there). When the ui runs like shit on a highend pc, with a quadcore i5-7600k 4.5ghz and and a geforce 1070, you know there’s room for improvement!
I’m on Windows 10 and installed latest Kodi from the Windows store.
