For some time now when ever I launch Kodi (17 – 17.3) my Malware software flags up a blocked site trying to make an outgoing connection with my pc. My pc tries multiple times to connect to this site, approx every 5sec. As far as I can tell this all started just after updating to 17.3.
The site is: ftp.snt.utwente.nl on 130.89.149.20 which appears to be a university in Netherlands that runs some sort of ‘Router testing’ facility from within its campus.
Does anybody know what this is, if its ‘dangerous’, what and why it is trying to connect with, and, most importantly, HOW DO I STOP IT?
