customize skin layout

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could point me to the right place in the xml files to adjust the layout of my skin a bit.
I attached a screencapture to help explain what i wanted to to.
I want to expand the view left, the movie poster (with the blue rectangle around it), to a bigger size, prefferably to the size of the green rectangle i’ve drawn in the screencapture.
The movie details view (in the red rectangle) can be deleted to accomplish this.
