Going to add-ons crashes Kodi

Hey I’m new as I’m sure you can tell but I recently started using Kodi and it worked fine but recently it has begun to crash everytime I click on the add-ons tab. I am using the Google pixel (not XL) and I’m on
Android version 8.0.0 (DP3) I assume that the problem even though it worked fine on DP1 and DP2 but again I’m new to this so I’m not sure, any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.
