Favorite list and new movie lists

I’m going to apologize beforehand in case I’m in the wrong section and stupidity of questions.. I have a M8S Pro and all works fine , except the list brought up by selecting the star on the home screen in the lower left hand corner brings up a favorite screen with a big list of stuff I didn’t put there and want to delete. I can delete individually but was wondering if there is a way to delete by selecting all. Next question, how do I add movies to a new movies playlist? I’m running version 16 jarvis. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.
