NFO file rename issue

Hi, me again
I was just doing a rename dry-run an noticed that the NFO files are not getting (going to be) renamed to the new movie file name. see details below.
Is this a bug.. or am i mis-understanding?
In this example.. surely the NFO file should be renamed The Abyss (1989).nfo ?

In settings->Movies->General, NFO file renaming <movie filename>.nfo is checked
renamer set to
dir: $2\{$M\}$E ($Y)
file: $T ($Y)

Old -> New
Abyss, The.avi -> The Abyss (1989).avi
Abyss, The.nfo -> Abyss, The.nfo
Abyss, The-poster.jpg -> The Abyss (1989)-poster.jpg
Abyss, The-fanart.jpg -> The Abyss (1989)-fanart.jpg

cheers,
chris
