i’ve installed kodi on my pc using the windows “release: installer” link (d: drive) and i’ve also installed the kodi windows app from the windows store (which installed in the windowsapps folder, c: drive)… altho each install has its own kodi.exe file and its own set of program folders they do seem to be connected, for example if i launch the pc install and change the skin, close kodi, then launch the app it will reflect the skin change…
anyway, as far as i can tell, both installs seem to be identical in snappiness, look and feel… so my question is: is there any advantage to using one install over the other if the only install will be on the pc?
