I understand that the Windows 10 Store version of Kodi isn’t UWP, it has been packaged with the Desktop Bridge and is essentially the same Win32 app ‘pushed’ through the Store.
That said, are there any known functionality differences between the Store version and the downloadable MSI version?
I know they both use the same userdata directory location and thus advancedsettings.xml is all there and thus using with MySQL should still be fine?
I saw from early reports that there were questions about portable mode (“kodi.exe -p”) not working?
Any issues with 3rd party repos?
Just checking before I plow ahead as I’d much prefer to use a Store app that maintains upgrades itself and sends crash feedback back to devs.
