i followed the fix till it told me to delete a file(ADDons27.db) from kodi database folder. But the datbase folder does not exist. i am lost now as how to proceed. I run windows 10 with full updated and NVIDIA 970. any help would be appreciate it

I upgraded on an existing device and also installed fresh on a new device. the fresh install played files significantly faster. wondering why? are there any settings to check on the upgraded unit or should I just do a fresh install on that one?
